Raptors nest

I have been employed with Bpl Mobile as Asst. Manager- Technical Team since Dec 2002. I belong to the Network Monitoring Center (BSS) where I monitor the health of our cellular network in Mumbai. I do this by observing and fine tuning network statistics, integrating new sites and resolving service affecting emergencies in conjunction with the Field engineers. Prior to this, I lead a team of 6 engineers and handle the field operations of South Mumbai. This profile included preventive and breakdown maintenance of over 100 sites, implementation of new sites and resolution of hardware related coverage issues. Ability to handle emergency situations, which are stressful by nature, with a calm analytical mind is one of the most important prerequisites of both these profiles and, over the last two years, I have sharpened this skill of mine to a high degree.
My contributions to my company have not been just technical. Recently I formulated a product called BAIT which attempts to use the mobile network as a non intrusive advertising medium. This has given me the opportunity to work with the marketing team and this potentially lucrative product has been appreciated by the upper management. It will be introduced in the market shortly.
