C: Briefly describe your job responsibilities and accomplishments from your work experience:
a) statement of purpose: (background, significant events, accomplishments,experience at your workplace, extracurricular, relationship with friends family, career plans and how iimb fits into your dreams and ambitions.)
Why mba
During my education and my two years at BPL Mobile, I have learnt the importance of 3 essentials for growth in any industry - Initiative, resource management skills and knowledge. While rm and initiative become important as one grows in an organization, knowledge content itself, changes as we grow in responsibility.
The PGP program at IIMB is an investment in my career. I see myself growing in marketing, eventually reaching an upper management position in a technology based company.
This program will equip me not only with an in-depth understanding of all the functional spheres of an organization but also give me the tools and the attitude which will help me to lead and perform. It will be enriching to belong to a class where I can learn from others’ experiences and also share my own. The course will provide me with an opportunity to network and learn from the accomplished alumni, faculty and achievers amongst my peers. Interest groups like FII and MaSh will give me an opportunity to put my learning to practice and thus complete my education.
b) any other information abt yourself that influenced you to choose a career in mgmt.
1)
I believe in challenging myself and discovering new limits to my potential. A course at IIMB will put me through fierce competition and intense pressure for an extended period of time. This training will mould me to handle any demanding scenario in life.
2)
Im hardworking, have loads of stamina and believe in pushing myself to new heights in my quest to realize my potential and then catapult myself beyond. A career in management, especially in IIMB will subject me to a fiercely competitive environment where I will be constantly under pressure to perform at my best. This without a doubt will shape my attitude to handle any demanding scenario in life.
I like challenging myself and discovering new

> compete against the best in India.
I believe the pressure to perform in such an environment will equip me
to
handle every demanding scenario later in life. I also look forward to
learning from my peers and the valuable networking and bonding that

I firmly believe that there is something to be learnt from every person I meet, which makes me interact with a lot of people and garner different perspectives.
